Thomas Edison's Office
This was Edison's private office and mini-lab, adjacent to the large lab and manufacturing facility at his winter home in Fort Myers.
The Dried-up Swamp at the Nature Center
The combination of a prolonged drought and a December freeze left many places in Florida temporarily looking withered and brown, instead of the usual lush green. This is normally the center of the swamp area of the nature sanctuary we visited. It was completely dry, and this is how the foliage looked.
